Who we are
Camp Explore Team is composed of professionals from various fields of disciplines from outdoor education, education, art, psychology, medicine, sales, and marketing backgrounds. We all have passion and compassion for building better individuals and improving relationships through interactive, experiential learning experiences whether you are students, teachers, professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, etc..
We undergo regular training and development activities. We were trained by affiliates of American Camp Association, International Camp Fellowship, Cornell Outdoor Education in Ithaca, Bradford Woods in Indiana. Locally, we have attended trainings by Dr. John Maxwell, Zig Ziglar, and Blue Ocean Strategy through Inspire and Businessworks. We have undergone environmental education seminars and workshops by Mother Earth Foundation and Center for Environment Awareness and Education.
At our base camp at Mount Purro Nature Reserve, our staff lives in the community of Calawis. Most of them are from the Dumagat tribe. They have been trained to work at Camp as an alternative livelihood to from illegal logging and environmentally destructive practices. We have the drive to give you the best customer service experience through our honest, polite, and gracious personnel.
